ARTICLES 4 Many people have no idea about the meaning of Halloween and what it means to celebrate it. This is largely because Halloween has become part of popular culture and few people think about what Halloween actually symbolises. Even more alarming is that even Christians have started celebrating Halloween. Some Christians believe that allowing children to dress up in costumes and go to their neighbours for sweets is completely safe.
This is not the case! Anton Szandor LaVey, founder of the Church of Satan in the United States in 1966, said: "I am glad that Christians allow their children to celebrate the devil at least once a year. And if we as Christians celebrate Halloween, we are practically committing a one-night stand with the devil. Everything about this holiday is connected with death.
It is one of the most important days in the satanic calendar. It is also the day when the largest number of human sacrifices are made around the world." Often, it is on Halloween night that people rise in rank in satanic circles through certain satanic rituals. The true meaning of Halloween is not just harmless skeletons and sweets. The true meaning is to disguise oneself in a special way and attract certain demons.
And also to sweeten all of THIS for children... that's why they hand out sweets. People don't think about the deeper meaning of these things. ‘The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy. I have come that they may have life and have it abundantly.’ John 10:10 John Ramirez, who before his conversion to Christ was a high-ranking priest in a Satanic temple, told the story of his personal involvement in Satanism. Ramirez pays special attention to the celebration of Halloween, wanting to warn parents about its dangers.
John Ramirez shared that he and his wife were Satanists and chose Halloween to get married: ‘I remember 31 October 1987, when I had the most devilish wedding on the planet. My wife and I decided to get married on Halloween, perform a demonic ritual that lasted all night, and the wedding bells were heard all the way to the gates of hell,’ he said. Ramirez warned Christians that it is impossible to separate the dark origins of Halloween from today's seemingly harmless practices. "As devil worshippers, Halloween was special to us, and we looked forward to celebrating it because we knew the consequences of unleashing dark forces on that night. It is very different from any other night in the world of witchcraft.
It would be like if I said to believers today, 'How important are Good Friday and Easter to you? Halloween has the same weight and importance for those who live on the dark side." Ramirez firmly believes that Christians should not participate in this holiday, even if they rename it Harvest Fest or try to make it into some kind of Christianised version of Halloween. ‘The only harvest we should celebrate is the harvest of souls,’ Ramirez added. THE SPIRITUAL WORLD, as we all know, IS REAL... Today, many people are under demonic pressure because they have allowed something bad into their lives... and Halloween is one of those doors, opened out of foolishness and ignorance.
Sadly, many Christians today are losing their spiritual vigilance and do not discern what lies behind seemingly harmless things. If we listened to the voice of the spirit, we would not participate in things that do not belong to God's kingdom. God speaks clearly in His word: Jesus brought life, and everything that comes from Him is light, joy, and truth... the devil is incapable of creating and giving. The devil only distorts and counterfeits what is divine.
Therefore, it is especially important now not to succumb to the outward appeal of darkness, but to stand on the side of light and keep the PURITY of the heart. M. A. L.
